Grandma has been making some lovely new specialties. This PEAR AND LAVENDER PIE (a large tart really) has the wonderful taste of the coming Spring. The crust is a lovely shortbread layered with sweetened cream cheese enhanced with fresh lemon zest and topped with delicate ripe pears. The entire confections is then drizzled with Lavender Syrup... ahhh Spring is here!
